Climate
The bar chart above is an estimation on how much climate and rainfall there is in the Deciduous Forest.
The deciduous forest's climate has four distinct seasons; spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
The deciduous forest's climate has four distinct seasons; spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Spring
The deciduous forest in spring, grows a lot of grass and leaves on the trees to replace the ones that had fallen in the winter.
Summer
In the summer the trees give out shade so it is not as hot as it is in second hand deciduous forests.
Autumn
I especially like the deciduous forest in the fall because of the beautiful color of the leaves, in the trees, that change from green to yellow, orange, red etc...
Winter
Trees in the winter loose all their leaves.
In the deciduous forest the hottest month is July, which can go from 2˚C (35.6˚F) to 38˚C (100.4˚F).Since it mostly rains in the summer, it can rain up to 40 cm (about 16 inches) or more. December can go from -12˚C (10˚F) to at least 1˚C (33.8˚F). During the winter, it does not rain as much as it does during the summer. Temperature and humidity can change in a day, hour, or even in a few minutes. You cannot always predict the weather.
Temperature in the deciduous forest do not drop much from day to night. That's because the forest is 60 to 80 percent relatively humid and helps to moderate temperature change. A moist blanket of air insulates the forest, helping to keep heat in at night. In the daytime, this insulator prevents the forest from warming up too quickly.
